AirTalk for February 13, 2004

Yesterday, Phyllis Lyon age 79, and Del Martin age 83, became the first same sex couple to be married in the United States. Larry Mantle talks with Rachel Gordon, City Hall reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, Toni Broaddus, Project Director for Equality California, a non-profit organization seeking to expand legal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Californians, Mathew Staver, President and General Counsel of Liberty Counsel, and Gloria Allred, an attorney and a partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Allred, Maroko & Goldberg about what happened yesterday, and what happens next.
