Federal And State Laws On Medical Marijuana
A DEA raid on Westside medical marijuana dispensaries is calling attention to the conflict between federal and state laws on the issue. While marijuana is illegal under federal law, California's Proposition 215 legalized marijuana for seriously ill patients and allowed for reduced penalties for possession. Many marijuana supporters are also critical of President Obama, who promised on the campaign trail that he would not use the Justice Department to circumvent state laws. Larry Mantle talks with John Eastman, of the Chapman University School of Law about the federal and state laws governing medical marijuana.

The United States would have more open talks with Iran, while pressuring an end to its nuclear program with the threat of economic sanctions. What should be the U.S. foreign policy toward Iran going forward? Larry Mantle talks with Barbara Slavin of the Washington Times, and Jim Walsh of M.I.T.
