One Nation Under God

AirTalk for December 26, 2005

In his new book, One Nation Under God: The History of Prayer in America, James Moore looks at our country's history through the prism of prayer. His contention is that prayer has always been intertwined with America's cultural life and that our social, economic, political, and military history would be very different today if not for prayer. Larry talks with Moore about the history of prayer in America; from Native Americans to the prayers uttered in the wake of September 11.
