The military tribunals at Guantanamo Bay naval base finished their first week last week. Observers report that the trials have thus far been characterized by confusion. More Californians Are In Poverty And Lack Health Insurance
New data from the US Census Bureau shows that the number of Californians in poverty has gone up, and that the number of Californians with health insurance has gone down. Larry Mantle talks with economists Chris Thornberg, Senior Economist for UCLA’s Anderson Forecast and Kenneth Chay, PeeVey-Vial Associate Professor of Economics at UC Berkeley who hold different opinions on what the data means.
