Although President Bush was recently taken by surprise that gas costs $4.00 a gallon in this country, should we expect our representatives to be more in touch with what the average American experiences. Both Senators McCain and Obama have been accused of being elitist. When Sen. McCain was asked yesterday by reporters, "How many houses do you and Mrs. McCain own?" McCain didn't know.
