Ashcroft Goes After the Porn Industry
In a ten-count indictment, the US Justice Department has charged a North Hollywood adult video seller with violating federal obscenity laws. Extreme Associates owners Robert Zicari and Janet Romano have been charged with interstate mailing and distribution of materials deemed "obscene" by the Department of Justice. The DOJ plans more prosecutions of "purveyors and producers of adult obscenity."
