New Census Data On Migration

The U.S. Census Bureau says that in the late 1990's, for the first time, more people migrated out of California than into it from other states. Is this part of a new, long-term trend? Larry Mantle talks with Dowell Myers, a demographer and Professor of Urban Planning at USC's School of Policy, Planning and Development, and John Pitkin, a demographer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a Senior Research Associate at USC.

The symptoms are less pronounced than in Major Depression but none-the-less cause sufferers serious quality of life and productivity problems.
