She is the co-founder and director of the Marriage, Family and Relationship Institute at La Vie Counseling Center in Pasadena, and Dr. Gary Brainerd, a clinical psychologist in private practice with offices throughout Southern California. He is the founder of The Couples Garden seminars and presents the nationally-known "Getting the Love You Want" workshop for couples as well as his own "Incredible Power of Two" seminars to find out what's troubling married couples today, and the different approaches couples therapists are using to help them.
