The Minuteman Project

This month hundreds of volunteers patrolled the Arizona-Mexico border, by air and by foot, in an effort to deter illegal border crossings. These civilians have been part of the month-long, privately organized "Minuteman Project." President Bush has called the effort "vigilantism." Governor Schwarzenegger has praised the group.
