The Assault on Baghdad
Just over a year ago, a battalion of less than a thousand Army troops captured Baghdad in a three day battle. The Spartan Brigade of the Third Infantry Division from Ft. Stewart, GA, captured Baghdad using lightning tactics that changed the military’s Armored Doctrine. Joining Host Larry Mantle is David Zucchino, foreign correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and author of Thunder Run: The Armored Strike to Capture Baghdad (Grove Press).
The Travel Slump – Is It Over?
California’s travel industry has been in a slump for quite a few years now, but there are signs that it may be recovering. Larry Mantle talks with "AirTalk" travel experts Paul Lasley and Elizabeth Harriman, and a variety of other guests about how the travel industry is changing and adapting to the to the needs of post-9/11, post-recession travelers.
