Boris Yeltsin helped engineer the final collapse of the Soviet Union and pushed his country towards a market economy. Russian news agencies are reporting Yeltsin died of heart failure today. Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Dies

Flags will fly at half-staff over Los Angeles city buildings today in honor of Democratic Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald who died of cancer this weekend at the age of 68. McDonald had a long and prestigious career, including seven terms in Congress representing Carson, Compton, Long Beach and parts of Los Angeles. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has 14 days to set a date for a special election to fill her 36th-district seat. Larry talks about Millender-McDonald's career with Congresswomen Jane Harman and Loretta Sanchez, as well as political analyst Allan Hoffenblum.
