The Supreme Court heard arguments today in a case involving a 13 year-old girl who was strip-searched at her Middle School by officials who were looking for ibuprofen. At issue is whether or not the school violated the 4th amendment's ban on unreasonable searches. The decision by the high court could have broad implications for schools with strict policies on student violence and drug use.
