Larry and a panel of guests examine the transformation of suburban communities in Orange County into urban centers, exploring how suburban communities create urban space and what kind of commercial and cultural development is best suited to the suburban Orange County landscape. Joining Larry is Steve Harding, Executive Director of the Planning and Building Agency, City of Santa Ana, Joel Kotkin, Irvine Fellow at the New America Foundation, Ray Young, professor of geography, former chair of the university's Geography Department and the newly appointed associate vice president for academic programs at Cal State Fullerton, and Michael Haack, Manager of Development Services for the City of Irvine.
