We’ve got a dirty little secret. There's a new FREE compost giveaway site in LA, and its mix contains the creme de la creme of composting: "Zoo Doo" from the LA Zoo. Jim Kurz of the Bureau of Sanitation informs us that the Mission Road Compost site is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-5, except for a 1PM-2PM lunch hour. There is no limit on the amount of compost you can take home with you.
