About the Show

Over 11 years and 570 episodes, John Rabe and Team Off-Ramp scoured SoCal for the people, places, and ideas whose stories needed to be told, and the show became a love-letter to Los Angeles. Now, John is sharing selections from the Off-Ramp vault to help you explore this imperfect paradise.

Roving Archers

Pasadena's Lower Arroyo Seco Park is a great place to walk along a river, sit under tree and shoot an arrow.

After all, this is where "The Adventures of Robin Hood," one of the best movies of all time, was shot in 1938. Now, every Saturday morning, dozens of people head to the park, bow and arrow in hand to join the Pasadena Roving Archers. Cyndi Bemel has the story.
