A native Angeleno, Tamar Faggen has been listening to LAist 89.3 since she was in diapers.
She got her first taste of journalism writing a column about life in the fourth grade for a local paper. Tamar previously worked as an Apprentice News Clerk on AirTalk with Larry Mantle and FilmWeek. She is a graduate of Bard College, where they served as general director of Bard's student-run radio station, WXBC.
In her spare time, Tamar enjoys listening to music and discovering the many hidden gems SoCal has to offer.
