The crime was captured on video, and involved the suspects, a Black man and a Hispanic woman, entering the store and forcing the jewelers to kneel down and give up their cash to the robbers.

57-year-old Verne Joseph Strong of Newport Beach "was sentenced Thursday for kicking, slapping and swinging a puppy by the neck during an argument with his girlfriend in a Wal-Mart parking lot," according to the OC Register. A car-to-car shooting that ended when one vehicle crashed into an Echo Park car wash has left two men injured, according to CBS2. A man on trial for stabbing a fellow movie-goer has ended with a conviction. Landry Boullard was watching the film "Shutter Island" at a Cinemark Theater in Lancaster back in February when a woman he was with was repeatedly shushed by another patron.
