One man is leading the movement to have Caltrans replace the bicycle safety signs destroyed by the Station Fire along Angeles Crest Highway. In fact, Trent Sanders of La Cañada says he's willing to pay to have them made and put up himself, according to the Glendale News-Press.

Actor Ryan Rottman, who the Daily News says is probably best known for his role on the show Gigantic, has become first known to us as being the dude who got busted by the LAPD for drinking and driving in Hollywood Thursday night. Rottman, 26, was reportedly enjoying a night out with pals Zac Efron and Rumer Willis at Dillon's Irish Pub, marking the first time we've heard of anyone actually going to Dillon's Irish Pub.

A violent confrontation by a motorist against a bicyclist has resulted in an arrest, the Los Angeles Police Department have announced. Though the crime, in which a driver drove into a cyclist to knock her over on a city street, took place in late May, the LAPD arrested the suspect this week.

At least one inmate was getting a little restless Sunday when he fatally stabbed a fellow patient inside a secure ward of a Sun Valley psychiatric facility. Now that man, 27-year-old Jerry L. Romansky of Glendale, is facing murder charges for the death of his roommate, 48-year-old Dean J. Camacho, according to the Daily News.

A stop at Pink's hot dogs remains a must-do for many visitors to (and residents of) Los Angeles, but even though it's Hancock Park adjacent, it's not on the itinerary for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are set to arrive in town this afternoon. That doesn't matter to Pink's; our own hot dog royalty is honoring the royal couple with a special hot dog on their menu.

Authorities in Santa Monica are searching for a suspect who attacked a Santa Monica College student Thursday night. The attacker, a white male in his late 20s, was clad in what the victim said was a black wetsuit that covered him from neck to ankles. The assault took place at around 10 p.m. in the 1300 block of Pearl Street, near the SMC campus.

Michael Gargiulo, known as the "Hollywood Ripper," is off to Chicago to face charges for the 1993 murder of a teenager. However, this isn't his first run-in with the law, or his first murder rap: Gargiulo "is already being held for a series of other alleged crimes, including the 2001 stabbing" of Ashton Kutcher's onetime girlfriend, explains KTLA.

An argument between neighbors ended with a woman arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and assault with a caustic chemical after she sprayed kids playing outside their Ventura home with roach killer. 52-year-old Jeanette Rohde allegedly got into a fight with another neighbor as Maria Elena Pacheco's five children played in a nearby yard.
