A man California State University, Northridge campus police spent much of Tuesday searching for turned himself in late in the evening yesterday. Following reports of a man with a gun in the school's Oviatt Library yesterday, authorities launched a manhunt that they ultimately called off around dinnertime after the suspect and his alleged weapon did not turn up.

A young man suspected of carrying a gun and threatening to use it on the California State University, Northridge campus has been identified as 22-year-old Gahren Moradian of Burbank. Moradian, a CSUN philosophy student, surrendered to the police at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to a campus spokesperson.

Milton Bradley, a onetime Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder, is out on bail today following his arrest Tuesday on suspicion of felony battery. The 33-year-old ballplayer who is no stranger to law enforcement, was arrested at about 2 p.m. yesterday at his home in the 5300 block of Oak Park Avenue in Encino.
