Officials with the Los Angeles Fire Department have determined that the cause of this week's Mandeville fire is the cigarettes of two guys who were standing around smoking. The fire has been ruled accidental.

A small brush fire, covering an estimated 5-7 acres, is burning in the Lake View Terrace area, say the Los Angeles Fire Department. 65 firefighters from the LAFD, as well as Angeles National Forest ground personnel and the Los Angeles County Fire Department--with a helicopter and handcrew--are working on the blaze, which is being fanned by 5 mph breeze.

A fire in September 2010 destroyed the home actress Ricki Lake was renting in Malibu, and now the owner of the house is suing Lake, reports ABC7. The fire allegedly began when Lake spilled some oil she was using to refill her space heater--something that Lake reportedly admitted to personnel on scene.
