Topline:

The Metro D Line will not operate between Union Station in downtown L.A. and Wilshire/Vermont this weekend due to the subway extension project. The closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday and lasts through Monday morning.

What we know: D Line trains will operate every 20 minutes between Wilshire/Western and Wilshire/Vermont during this time. Rider alerts are updated here.

Detours: Riders are instructed to use the B Line between Union Station and Wilshire/Vermont as an alternative. Metro Bus Lines 20 and 720 along Wilshire Boulevard are also options to get around the closure.
