LAX Commuters Lookout: Construction Will Partially Close Century Boulevard
LAX will need upgrades to prepare for the influx of international visitors

Drivers heading to LAX this week should give themselves extra time as construction crews will partially close down Century Boulevard.
Starting Monday, two lanes on Century Boulevard going east and westbound at Concourse Way will be closed until 7 p.m. Friday.
During the construction period, three westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes will be open from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

LAX says officers will be on the ground to keep traffic flowing. The construction crews will be working on the Roadway and Utility Enabling project, which is meant to improve traffic flow.
