Tsunami Test Allows Researchers to Prepare

Researchers conducted a simulation last week to see what would happen if an off-shore earthquake and tsunami hit Oregon's Pacific coast. Journalists and scientists watched the wave wash over and flood a miniature model of the town of Seascape in a massive airplane hangar. The test allowed researchers to learn more about tsunamis and how a threatened population can escape.
