Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep. Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin turned up at a campaign event in jeans. She was mocked last week for her wardrobe choices. She was attacking out-of-touch elites when it was revealed that her party paid for a $150,000 shopping spree. Her stylist and makeup artist were paid thousands more. The Alaska Governor says she's not going to keep these clothes, instead returning to her regular consignment shop that she patronizes in Anchorage. It's Morning Edition.
