Barack Obama's "A More Perfect Union" Speech

Barack Obama delivered a major speech about race in America in Philadelphia on Tuesday. The timing of the speech makes it seem responsive to recent news about provocative sermons given by his former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, which Obama denounced last week.

Eugene Robinson, columnist for the Washington Post, and Joe Klein, columnist for Time magazine, talk to Michele Norris about what Obama needed to do in the speech and whether he did it.
