A judge has rejected the L.A. County Board of Supervisors' request that he order Sheriff Alex Villanueva to immediately terminate Caren Carl Mandoyan, the deputy he rehired. Former Sheriff Jim McDonnell had fired Mandoyan over allegations of domestic abuse and dishonesty.
