Under Villanueva, LA Sheriff's Department ending far more ongoing internal misconduct probes
The L.A. County inspector general issued a report citing a "sharp increase" in the number of ongoing administrative misconduct investigations cut short by Sheriff's Department officials in January and February. The department responds by calling the report "a superficial snapshot." KPCC's Frank Stoltze discusses the inspector general's findings.
