A fire that began in a pair of Northern California counties earlier this week has swelled to over 1,200 acres and was threatening roughly 2,600 structures in the area on Thursday, according to information from the U.S. Forest Service.

The cause of the Trailhead Fire is still under investigation, but no injuries have been reported, according to the Forest Service.

The anti-fire personnel total has reached 1,900, which includes 123 engines, four helicopters and eight tankers. Mandatory evacuations are in place in parts of El Dorado and Placer counties.
