Students raise thousands for teacher whose home burned in Woolsey Fire
When students in dance classes at Van Nuys High School learned that their teacher, Reesa Partida, had lost her home in the Woolsey Fire last week, they sprang into action. The students set up a page for Partida on the crowdfunding website GoFundMe. As of Wednesday afternoon, it had raised more than $6,100.
