Shrek to get star on Walk of Fame Thursday
The animated ogre Shrek will receive the 2,408th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday, one day before the release of "Shrek The Final Chapter."
Mike Myers, the voice of Shrek, will accept the star alongside Shrek during the 11:30 a.m. ceremony in front of Madame Tussauds Hollywood.
Shrek will join such animated figures as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Snow White and The Simpsons with stars on the Walk of Fame.
