Santa Anita Park reopens after inspection of track following increase in horse deaths
Horses are back on the track at Santa Anita Park. Officials closed it down this week to study it after 19 horses died in just two months.
Spectators cheered and waved from the green arena benches as horses whipped by them on the one-mile track.
But the return of betting and jockeys was still nerve-wracking for park management.
