Rent Is More Expensive In CA Than Just About Anywhere Else

Californians have to earn nearly $35 an hour in order to afford a modest two-bedroom apartment and still have enough left over for other expenses. But renters in Los Angeles only make about $22 an hour on average, leaving many burdened by housing costs.
