Photos: 1st look at the 3 new gates at LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal
Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and L.A. airport officials on Wednesday unveiled three new aircraft gates at the new Tom Bradley International Terminal, the first of 18 gates to be built there in part to accommodate the next generation of jumbo passenger aircraft such as the Airbus 380.
The unveiling included demonstration of a new laser-guided docking technology and passenger boarding bridges that use computerized technology.
