New UC payroll system wreaks havoc on student employees' finances
Last year UCLA, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UC Merced flipped the switch on a new payroll system. The system has created problems, mostly among student employees, ranging from delayed paychecks, overpayments and paper paychecks mailed to wrong addresses. UC plans to roll out the system at the rest of its campuses later this year.
