NBA Fan Raises $43K In Under Two Days To Support HK Protesters At Season Opener in LA

The NBA season opens in less than two weeks at Staples Center. It’s a must-see match-up between the Lakers and Clippers. But one fan wants to make the night memorable for another reason: Hong Kong democracy.
One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere.
