Man charged with killing three in Santa Monica, LA had long criminal record
The L.A. County District Attorney Wednesday charged 47-year-old Ramon Escobar with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder. The alleged attacks happened this month in L.A. and Santa Monica. Escobar served two years in prison in Texas in the mid-90s. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Escobar has six felony convictions against him and was deported six times by the agency between 1997-2011.
