LAPD seeks missing 70-year-old with Alzheimer's
A 70-year-old man with Alzheimer's disease was considered missing today, a police sergeant said.
Jose Leal Sanchez was last seen Wednesday when he left his home in the 1500 block of Hepner Avenue.
He was believed to have left in a blue 2006 Nissan Sentra with the license number 5TMC758.
He has Alzheimer's and needs his medication, his family told police.
Sanchez is 5 feet 7 inches and about 140 pounds. He was wearing green Docker pants and a Hawaiian print shirt.
He remained missing as of 3:30 a.m., Sgt. Patricia Milewski of the LAPD's Northeast Station said.
