LAPD releases sketch of possible Joseph Gatto killing suspect
The Los Angeles Police Department released a sketch Tuesday of a suspect possibly associated with the killing of Joseph Gatto, father of California Assemblyman Mike Gatto.
According to the LAPD, a witness spotted the suspect breaking into a vehicle around 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12. The suspect pointed a gun at the witness and threatened to kill her when she confronted him, according to the police, then another witness also confronted the suspect before he fled down public stairs.
Joseph Gatto was found shot dead in his Silver Lake home Wednesday night, Nov. 13.
The suspect wore a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt and tan pants, along with a tan backpack, according to police.
