LA pot shop owners are taking their fight with Weedmaps to Sacramento
A new California state assembly bill is aiming to go after websites like Weedmaps that host online ads for unlicensed pot shops.
Many licensed cannabis business owners in Los Angeles are backing the bill, which would impose penalties of $2,500 per day for each ad that does not feature a business's state license number.
