LA Gets A 'Medieval' Shout Out In Newsom's First State Of The State
Governor Gavin Newsom's first-ever State of the State address had some big headlines, but very few mentions of Los Angeles in the nearly hour-long speech.
"Typhus," Newsom said, calling attention to cases reported in L.A.. "That's a Medieval disease. In California. In 2019."
