Is USC driving up rents in Boyle Heights?
Residents of Ramona Gardens, a public housing development in Boyle Heights, were at City Hall Tuesday to voice concern over plans to build more graduate student housing on the adjacent USC Health Sciences Campus.
They’re worried that USC’s plans to build out the campus will drive rents in surrounding neighborhoods up and drive long-time residents out.
