L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva says he can outfit thousands of deputies for $13 million a year, compared with the $55 million annual price tag on a plan floated by former Sheriff Jim McDonnell.
One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere.
