Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in SoCal through Monday evening, especially in parts of Riverside County and the Coachella Valley.
Some are already feeling the brunt of the wet weather. Jose Duarte of Coachella says his entire street has been flooded since Sunday afternoon.
"The water was pretty much in the middle of people's property, of their lawns, and as soon as someone would drive by, the water would just cause a wave and it would reach the inside of garages 'cause that's what happened to my garage," he said.
A flash flood watch extends this afternoon into Los Angeles County mountains and the Antelope Valley. Debris flow and mud slides are likely in places that have recently burned.
