FBI says it stopped terrorist attacks planned across Southern California
Law enforcement officials announced Monday that they've arrested a man from the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Reseda who they say was planning multiple terrorist attacks across Southern California.
Authorities said 26-year-old Mark Steven Domingo — a former U.S. Army infantryman — was planning to bomb a rally that took place in Long Beach over the weekend.
Domingo had also discussed other plans for attacks like detonating a bomb next to a police car and plans to potentially bomb the Santa Monica Pier.
