Driver shot by police, hospitalized following Highland Park traffic stop
Police taped off several blocks around the 10900 block of Haskell Avenue in Granada Hills.

There was an officer-involved shooting Tuesday at around 2 a.m. in the Highland Park area, LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado told KPCC.
Northeast patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the 5500 block of Nordkye Street, Preciado said. After the vehicle stopped, a man in his 30s exited the driver seat and was shot.
The man was shot in his lower body and transported to a local hospital where he was in stable condition. A handgun believed to be the man's was found at the scene.
A female passenger was being interviewed by police.
