Discrimination hurts young children's mental health
Children as young as 7 years old who face discrimination are at a higher risk for anxiety and depression, according to a new study by UC Riverside and Clark University in Massachusetts. The researchers also found the risk is lower for those youngsters with a strong sense of racial or ethnic identity.
