Two years after CicLAvia pedaled across town from Union Station to the beach in 2013, Los Angeles’ favorite car-free event returns to the Westside on Sunday. The 6-mile route, dubbed “Culver City Meets Venice,” is shorter this time around. But with stops including Abbot Kinney and the Mar Vista Farmers Market, there’s plenty of fun to go around.

From the route, to bike rentals, to deals, here’s what you need to know.

Route map

You can start and stop anywhere along the route from 9.a.m to 4 p.m., but the path begins on National and Washington Boulevard in Downtown Culver City and ends at Venice Beach.

Street closures

Streets will begin to reopen to vehicles at 4 p.m., according to CicLAvia.

Bike rentals

No bike? No problem. Here’s CicLAvia’s list of bike and skate shops that will offer rentals during the event. Pro tip: They will likely sell out, so phone ahead.

Activities

Planned activities include live music and corn-shucking at the Mar Vista Farmers Market, an open house at the Kirk Douglas Theatre and a stop-motion workshop with Cirque du Soleil. There will also be a photo scavenger hunt — snap pictures in front of selected stops and upload them on social media with the hashtag #CicLAvia for a chance to win some merch (complete rules here). The roaming Book Bike will also give free books to L.A. Public Library card holders.

Deals

Get 15 percent off CicLAvia T-shirts with a valid TAP card, 15 percent off on bike gear at LABrakeless and 20 percent off on salt scrubs at Soaptopia. See a full list of stores offering discounts on Sunday here
