After A Fire, 100 Homeless People Have Nowhere To Go
Around 100 homeless people were displaced yesterday after a fire swept through a large encampment in the Sepulveda Basin. Most of the encampment's former residents lost everything they owned.
How did the city respond? Not with shelter.
One year ago, Congress voted to defund public media, eliminating a critical $1.7 million from our budget every year going forward. But they couldn’t silence us, and we’re not going anywhere.
