45 arrested in Riverside County anti-gang operation
California Attorney General Xavier Becerra joined Riverside County District Attorney Mike Hestrin and local police to announce 45 arrests as part of Operation Eastbound and Down. The raids were part of an effort to combat gang violence. So far, 22 people have been brought up on charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, and sale and possession of assault weapons and narcotics.
