Some LA County Libraries Will Offer COVID, Flu, And Mpox Vaccines

The L.A. County Department of Public Health and L.A. County Libraries are teaming up to offer free flu shots, as well as vaccinations for COVID-19 and Mpox.
Details: Vaccines are free and health insurance is not needed. To make an appointment, visit myturn.ca.gov or you can walk in at select libraries in Los Angeles County, including West Hollywood, Gardena, Culver City and Westlake. The program will run until Dec. 20 or while supplies last.
Eligibility: The COVID-19 vaccine is available for those aged 12 and older, while the flu shot is recommended for anyone 6 months and up. Mpox vaccines are available for men who have sex with other men or transgender people. Vaccine eligibility can be checked at LACountyLibrary.org/VaccineClinics.
